All your clothing will be folded, archived or displayed to ensure your closet is being utilised effectively. Once we have your closet in order we can also arrange in house steaming, dry cleaning and alternations for your garments to ensure they are maintained in pristine condition.

Shooting Beauty provide clients in creative disciplines services to build their portfolios with services offering workshop packages including a theme, location and models. You will have your own Personal Stylist, Make Up Artist along side a full professional team of photographers and portfolio consultations, in addition to your images which you get to keep and use for commercial and marketing purposes.
Being on set for the day as Assistant Stylist was very interesting as there was a variety of themes for clients to choose from including Classic Beauty, Gothic Ballerina, Dishevelled Denim or Fashion Lingerie.

Kimora Lee Simmons - Inspirational Reading
Life in the Fab Lane!
I love Kimora Lee Simmons (KLS);
she is such as inspiration to so many women. I miss watching her show Life in
The Lane, which unfortunately no longer is shown regularly on The Style Network
on Sky channel 253. Well thank to Kimora’s book ‘What it is and How to get it’
her inspirational words of wisdom are like my business women journal that I like
to refer to as a book of good reference.
This step by step guideline for
achieving your own ‘Fabulousity’ is a great way to embrace your aspirations.
Like Kimora says don’t be the part of the furniture be the Life and Soul of the
Party. I can relate to the tip of keeping a journal, as I think that this is a
good exercise for everyone. Having a place where you can express yourself,
thought and feelings. Use this tool to write down your biggest ambitions, your
goals and feelings.
The motivation talk that Kimora
expresses in the book is a good way to inspire you to identify how to get to
the Top and why you should never let anyone stand in your way. Kimora talks about important factors like
women we need to be confident, if you’re not ‘fake it until you make it’.
Like KLS states we are all
fabulous and we should never let anyone tell us any different!

Professional Beauty Trade Show
The Beauty Trade
Show at The Excel London is a great insight to see new innovate products. You
can also purchase items at a reduced rate and get some great discounts. The
Elemis Spa Bus was a great Pamper experience to feel relaxed offering facials
and neck and shoulder messages.
I tried out a new
brand called Fab Brows where I was offered free eyebrow sample. The Beauty
Therapist asked me what eyebrow shape I liked, which has also been arched,
thick and arched I replied. I was asked to take a seat, where she had taken an
arch stencil to draw over my eyebrow with some foundation powder. I was surprisingly
happy with the result however the foundation powder she used was too dark and I
was not sure if I wanted to purchase the stencil and powder toolkit. I thought
its best to have another glance in a main mirror and to not purchase an impulse
buy. On that note I went to one of the delegate meeting at the IMF area where a Champagne Lunch was
awaiting us, I thought that this was very much on point. As it allowed me to keep up with my healthy eating plan, well apart from the Champagne, but if anything Champagne is the preferred alcoholic drinks along with vodka if on a healthy eating plan and there is no way that Vodka is going to be served.
All in all, I was
very happy with the day as it was a great insight into the Beauty world, as I am
currently setting up my own brand it is interesting to see how big this industry.
To meet people that love their job and want to help people feel good on the
outside to reflect on the exterior is such a great feeling to know that I will
be part of giving people the feel good feeling.

London Fashion Weekend

Weekend
Ladies, Hats and
Heels! At Somerset House Ladies were dressed up in their best attire queuing to
get their entrance tickets and London Fashion Week Bags. Oh Fabulous I thought
we have arrived, but the thought of waiting in Heels just for a bag! I thought
‘Is this what Carrie Bradshaw had to do?’
This was not so Fabulous and not what I thought being at the actually
Somerset House would be like. This does not look like what I see in the movies.
I had in mind Champagne on arrival and be shown to our front row seats, even
though we only had bronze tickets.
Having worked
backstage at London Fashion Week off Schedule shows that did not take place in
the official location of Somerset House, to be honest I didn’t expect the
cobble stone pavement that kept trapping my High-Heels in between the cracks.
Trying to walk as
if I was on the Catwalk, as the long que starred at everyone that came to join
the long line, I thought next time we need to upgrade to VIP and get the que
jumping pass because this is not what I had in mind.
The pop up shops
were quiet impressed, designers included the likes of Paper London, Mista and Julien
MacDonald. Highlights of my London Weekend Experience was the 360 experience
like Red Carpet E-News.
The Sunglass Hut
offered a fun experience where you could try on the selection of cool glasses
and get your picture taken which is also emailed to you. I absolutely loved the
Vodafone Nail Varnish machine, but was only available to those that have a
contract with Vodafone, another disappointment. But overall it was a lively day
and everyone was in the best spirits.

London Fashion Week -Behind The Scenes!
My London Fashion
Week Experience
Day One
7:30 am
We were asked to
meet at the reception area in The Grand Connaught Rooms, where I meet the other
Stylists and Model Dresser Assistants.
I was on time and
waited to meet the Head Stylist of Fashions Finest.
7:45 am
We were greeted by
the Senior Stylist whom took us up to the Edinburgh room where we would be
based to assist Designers and Models.
8:30 am
Feeling overwhelmed
and excited I was asked to do the photocopying! What I thought how comes
everyone else gets to manage the clothing and im asked to do the paper work.
However this taught me whatever your asked to do do it with a smile on your
face. I realised that this was an important part of the show as it was the run
through of the Catwalk Show. Which
allowed me to know what Designer was on, when and which Models were needed,
which became useful when there was panic and mayhem when cueing the models for
the Runway.
10:00 am
All hands on deck!
I was finally able to get stuck in fulfil my duties as a Stylist and Dress and
Style the Models.
Onwards
I had lost track of
time but noted that SHOWTIME had arrived!
I did not even
realise that I had not had lunch, as the time pasts by so quickly.
However I was happy
to carry on and fill up on my Coconut Water and fruit (we instructed to bring
our own snacks) which I’m so happy I did.
Eventually after
the first show which was fun, exciting and manic we finally got to have a rest.
3pm
I stashed at the
chance to up load my social media portals, as I was so excited to share the
behind the scenes footage I took on my smartphone, of the Models and backstage
at London Fashion Week.

By the time I went
to get some lunch, which I was told would be provided for us; there were only
salad and 2 slices of cheese and onion quiche left. Great I thought,
sarcastically. Well if this is what the models eat then maybe it isn’t that
bad, as I was planning to eat start a healthy eating plan that Monday.
I had to then
assist the next Designer with the Runway schedule and Dressing the well behaved
Models whom waited patiently around.
Day 2
Was a very similar
start to Day 1 which a couple of surprises thrown in.
5:00 pm
Time flew by and it
was the second show of the day, another fun and hectic behind the scenes
commence. By this time I was exhausted but the adrenaline kept me going, as we
had one more show in an hour. We still had one or show to go British Designer
of the Year.
7:00 pm
9:00 pm
The British
Designer of the Year was revealed by Deborah St Louis Fashions Finest CEO,
which was awarded to Designer Zeeno Dee Clothing.
10 pm
The After Party
We were told
unexpectedly that we were also invited to the After Party at Bar Buddah in
Knightsbridge. Three of us girls ran to the toilets like little girls and was
in a hurry to do our make-up. I am always usually prepared with last minute
surprises, with a pair of eye lases, heels and some fab earrings in my bag. But
not this time, I was so unprepared that I did not even think After Party we
could be invited and bring a top or necklace. On the other hand I have made a
mental note for future references; SOS Kit – I will have an emergency bag full
of everything a girl could possibly need to attend events.
10:25
Party Bus
We ran to the Party
Bus which we just made in time, as the driver was about to close the doors.
Happily on board we were given tubes of Sambuka Shocks. I though this is it,
work hard and party harder. The party bus was luxurious with good music
playing, a drink bar and photographers. I wondered where these pictures could
end up. Although we weren’t famous on board, we partied with Models and
well-known names in the business.
11:00
We arrived at Bar
Buddah and were served welcome cocktails on arrival, which was really nice. It
was a chance to mingle with the elite of Fashions Finest; however most of the
backstage assistants including me stayed in our own group. The head stylist
came over to us, as we were about to order drinks and said that we had been a
great help and that we could order a round of drink on her. She then said send
all your drinks over to the VIP table and they will be taken care of. However
to my dismay this wasn’t to be the case and we were charged for an unexpected
bill that I did not see coming our way. In the end me and the girl I order a
drink for went halfs on the bill even though we did not finish the round of
drinks. In the end the experience that I thought was so fab left the bitter
sweet taste in my mouth.

London Fashion Week
London Fabulous Week is among us & has kicked off with Natalie Massent, Chairman of British Fashion Council opened the show with national statics stating that the fashion industry to the UK economy is worth £26 Billion, showing an increase of 22% from 2009.
The Mayor of London has reportedly said "these latest figures are clear evidence of the hugely important contribution that fashion makes to the economy "
London Fashion Week will consist of 77 designers presenting Catwalk shows or Designer Show Rooms over the next 5 day, this event is sponsored by Vodafone for the fifth season .Top Designers
include Mulberry, Nicole Farhi , Jonathan Saunders, and many more.
Tomorrow I will be working backstage behind the scenes at London Fashion Week at The Grand Connaught Rooms. I will be documenting my experience via my blog and tweeter @VStylits

Kim & Kanye's Paris Wedding Plans!
The reality star from ‘Keeping up
with the Kardashian’s, Kim Kardashian was recently seen in Paris with her hubby
Kanye West, for Paris Fashion Week.

The 33 year old who was proposed
to on her Birthday by finance Kanye West at an exclusive surprise showcase.
Kanye popped the question to Kim on one knee at a stadium in San Franciso,
asking Kim to ‘PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE’!! Written on the stadiums screen, followed
by an overwhelming greeting from friends and family that had been hidden in the
stadiums dugouts.

plan to get married this year 2014, for a summer wedding. The happy couple have
mentioned that they plan to have a destination wedding. It is speculated that
